INTERMEDIATE WEEKEND COURSE with Marketa

Our weekend courses take place in our studio in central Bristol. They consist of a 2,5h session each day (Saturday & Sunday, 1pm - 3:30pm) for a group of max 8 people. The intermediate weekend course is for everyone who already knows the basics of playing the handpan and perhaps already owns their own instrument. If you are comfortable with playing your instrument and you want to take your playing further, learn how to develop rhythms, practice independence of hands, add new techniques and play with other people, this course will be great for you. The material taught will be adjusted to the level and wishes of the participants, we will start from more simple concepts and develop them into more complex ones, so that everyone can choose what is the appropriate level for them. We will be using a D Kurd scale during the course, you can use one of our instruments or bring your own one.
